The Worst Ideological Enemy Of The US Is Now Europe

The vast majority of these European courts -- whether the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) or the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) -- in their attempt to be moral and just, have dismissed the sovereign laws of Italy as irrelevant, and trampled the rights of the Italian state and ordinary Italians to approve who enters their country.
In Europe, Amnesty International and the like are, it seems, a new source of law.
Those who gave the Statue of Liberty to America in 1886 "to commemorate the perseverance of freedom and democracy in the United States" are willingly trampling their own people's liberties today through courts of appointed, unelected, unaccountable ideologues. The danger is that, with the help of many doubtless well-intentioned, international NGOs, the EU will not stop at its shores.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Sad; but very essentially, quite true.

Geopolitical Turbulence in the Caucasus

To put it very simply, after Syria the Caucasus – barely 800 miles to the northeast – is literally Russia’s second line of defense, its “soft underbelly,” to use a worn but apposite phrase. Quite understandably, Russia is in Syria, among other reasons, precisely to make sure that it would not have to fall back to the aforementioned defense line. Its geopolitical opponents, however, are doing their utmost to see to it that it does. Hence the intense turbulence and maneuvering between Baku and Tbilisi, and beyond.

Webmaster's Commentary:

A new US military base, right on Russia's border in Georgia?!? And ready for occupation and activity by the end of this year?!?

This gives me a sense of what a timeline might be for a NATO-led war with Russia; let's say, maybe 5 months out, give or take, from today?!?

The accompanying buildup of NATO'S troops right on Russia's doorstep is no accident, either.

Map showing where NATO troops are stationed right on Russia's borders

Suddenly, I am very much seeing the moves on this chessboard, potentially leading to another world war.

FALSEHOOD IN WAR-TIME: Propaganda Lies of the First World War by Arthur Ponsonby MP, 1928

"The use of the weapon of falsehood is more necessary in a country where military conscription is not the law of the land than in countries where the manhood of the nation is automatically drafted into the Army, Navy, or Air Service. The public can be worked up emotionally by sham ideals. A sort of collective hysteria spreads and rises until finally it gets the better of sober people and reputable newspapers".

EU's Article 7 ULTIMATUM to Poland: We'll strip you of your voting rights if reforms go on

THE European Union is threatening to punish Poland and suspend its rights in a row over major reforms clashing with EU rules.

Brussels has given Warsaw a week to halt judicial reforms it said would put courts under direct government control, or face punishment for undermining democracy.

Hitting back Poland said it could take its own action at Europe's highest court if any EU case was initiated.

Last week, the Polish parliament adopted a new law which would allow them to choose the successors of 15 judges of the National Council of the Judiciary (KRS).

As a result the European Commission may decide there has been a major break from the EU’s fundamental values and could block Poland’s voting rights.

NATO can ‘deter’ Russia, Romanian president says amid drills in E. Europe (VIDEO)

NATO forces are able to deter Russia and they already do so by holding exercises in eastern Europe, Romanian President Klaus Iohannis said as he visited the site of drills staged by NATO and several partner countries in Romania.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Romanian President Klaus Iohannis, a word, please: Russia doesn't want war.

It wants trade.

And it has some incredible goods to trade, like non-GMO agriculture, oil, and natural gas.

This constant Russia-bashing on the part of you, and your colleagues in Eastern Europe, is a completely unfair, and disingenuous branding of this country, perhaps as a prelude to a NATO war against it, and you have to know that.

The following map tells the story better than I could ever articulate it:

The map that shows how many NATO troops are deployed along Russia’s border

So President Iohannis, if NATO is not encircling Russia with troops as a prelude to a war against it, to destroy the country and its financial system, why please, are they there?!?

European Parliament Votes to Allow EU Aid to Be Spent on Third World Militaries

The proposal to change the so-called Instrument contributing to Stability and Peace (IcSP) — an EU fund worth US$2.62 billion (€2.3 billion), charged with disbursing money for peace-building activities in conflict-ridden developing countries is avowedly part of the European Commission's "capacity building in support of security and development" initiative.

The proposals have been engulfed in legal controversy since their launch by the Commission in 2016. While the European Commission claims the move would strengthen the EU's ability to shore up state institutions in countries whose development has been hindered by violence, critics claim it's a covert attempt to divert financial resources away from traditional aid projects, to the EU's increasingly embattled military operations in sub-Saharan Africa.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I absolutely side with the critics on this one.

Africa is one of the most resource-rich, relatively unexploited continents on the face of this earth; therefore, Europe, just as does the US and China, wants to expropriate those resources, to which it has absolutely no moral right; make sure the regimes in these countries are Western-centric; and that these resources are only sold to specific countries, and only sold in Euros.

These European military operations in sub-Saharan Africa get little or no press here in the States; they should.

BANK OF ITALY WARNS AGAINST CREATING YOUR OWN CURRENCY

Because the top cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin and Ethereum are open source, any one can create their own cryptocurrencies. While the proliferation of cryptocurrencies has central banks concerened, another more insidious and perhaps greater threat to central banks’ monopoly on money creation is the issuance of scriptural euros by citizens.

What are Scriptural Euros?

Scriptural Euros are Euros issued by citizens under a “theory of the autonomous creation of scriptural currency” based on the idea of collective property of money that affirms the right of every citizen to autonomously create “scriptural” money (Euros) via their own accounting records. The thoery of autonomous creation of scriptural currency holds that just as banks can conjure debt based money out of thin air, so can citizens. Money thus created by citizens can then be used to extinguish their own debts.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Citizens are starting to think that if the banks can create money out of thin air, why can't the citizens?

Eurozone on the ROCKS: Inflation PLUNGES further as ECB scrambles to save EU economy

Yet inflation continues to disappoint, with stagnant prices taken as a sign of weak consumer demand.

If we don’t cut all ties with the EU... 1.2m migrants will head to the Britain

BRITAIN will need to build a city the size of Birmingham every two years unless it cuts all ties with Europe.

If the UK remains subject to freemovement rules, net migration from the EU will continue at around 125,000 a year over the next decade, adding to those from other countries, a report said last night. A soft Brexit will leave the door open to 1.25 million EU immigrants over this time.

The disturbing scenario comes as the first full week of Brexit negotiations are poised to start today in Brussels with urgent new powers to control migration the priority.

Taking into account nonEU migrants, pressure group Migration Watch UK claims failure to control EU movement will result in the population rocketing by around 500,000 each year.

This is close to figures from the Office for National Statistics under a high migration scenario.

Ukraine In NATO? America Should Reject A Bad Idea That Only Grows Worse With Age

The government of Ukraine reaffirmed its desire to join NATO. The alliance said the door is open for Kiev. It’s an idea that only grows worse with age.

It’s easy to understand why a majority of Ukrainians want NATO’s protection. They really want America’s protection. And who wouldn’t like the global superpower to take over one’s defense? Their country established its first contact with the alliance in 1991 when Ukraine joined the North Atlantic Cooperation Council. Since then Kiev has received aid and support while contributing troops to some allied operations.

And given the fact that the U.S. would do most of the heavy lifting in any conflict with nuclear-armed Russia, the critical question for Washington is whether adding a new member would increase Americans’ security.

PEOPLE NOT AMUSED BY EU EFFORTS TO “DE-CASH” THEIR LIVES

In January 2017 the European Commission announced it was exploring the option of imposing upper limits on cash payments, with a view to implementing cross-regional measures as soon as 2018. To give the proposal a veneer of respectability and accountability the Commission launched a public consultation on the issue. Now, the answers are in, but they are not what the Commission was expecting.

A staggering 95% of the respondents said they were opposed to a cash ceiling at EU level. Even more emphatic was the answer to the following question:

“How would the introduction of restrictions on payments in cash at EU level benefit you, or your business or your organisation (multiple replies are possible)?”

In the curious absence of an explicit “not at all” option, 99.18% chose to respond with “no answer.” In other words, less than 1% of the more than 30,000 people consulted could think of a single benefit of the EU unleashing cross-regional cash limits.

Webmaster's Commentary:

In spite of this overwhelmingly negative response, I would be willing to bet that the EU will go ahead with cash limits anyway, as people find creative ways of getting around them.

Ukraine De Facto Turns Into a NATO Military Platform, Sharpened for Use Against Russia

These days the airport of Odessa turned into a natural NATO airfield that only just manages to receive and send military aircraft with staff and military equipment. The Odessa “patriotic” Dumskaya.Net publication, literally choking with delight at such proximity to NATO “saviors”, regularly publishes photo reports on these take-offs and landings, from which it is possible to have a certain notion of the plans of the alliance’s command. Thus, just in a week in Odessa the arrival of the following military plans of the alliance was recorded.

But, perhaps, the most interesting visitor was the latest American distant anti-submarine Poseidon R-8 plane, which in general arrived in Ukraine for the first time.

US to Send Ground Troops to Kosovo to Join NATO Operation

The Pentagon has announced today that a unit of about 500 US ground troops, National Guardsmen, are to be deployed to the Kosovo region to join a NATO “peacekeeping” operation (KFOR) that has proven the longest in the alliance’s history.

The operation is the remnant of the 1999 NATO attack on Serbia, which ended with NATO announcing that Kosovo, which had been part of Serbia since the Middle Ages, would secede from Serbia. The ethnic Albanian population approved of this. The Serbian population in North Kosovo continues to oppose it.

18 years in, Kosovo still lacks recognition from a number of states, particularly Serbia, and the intense ethnic division between Albanians and Serbs remains as big a problem as ever. NATO’s effort has been to just keep throwing more troops at the situation, and hope that somewhere along the line the situation will resolve itself and victory can be claimed.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I wouldn't hold my breath here, wait for a "peaceful resolution" of the situation; the NATO troops are here to prevent the reigniting of a civil war , but that is just about all they can do.

Dutch Senate votes to grant intel agencies new surveillance powers

Plans by the Dutch government to increase surveillance powers are likely to face opposition from privacy activists.

A revamp of the country's laws (in Dutch) was passed by the Senate on Wednesday, clearing the final legislative hurdle after years of debate and protest, Reuters reports.

The new Intelligence and Security Act gives police the ability to go after the relatives of suspected terrorists or other serious criminals instead of only specified individuals. The Act also grants Dutch intelligence agencies new surveillance powers such as data retention for three years by service providers and permission for intel agencies to share intelligence with their foreign counterparts (GCHQ, NSA, and so on).

Diminishing Birth Rates – Why Is the First Political Solution Race Replacement?

One of the greatest political oddities is that across European nations, the first and last solution to diminishing birth rates is to decide that the next generation of Europeans should be a completely different race. US Deploys Advanced Anti-Aircraft Missiles in Baltics for First Time

Lithuania’s Defense Ministry has made a surprise announcement today that the United States has deployed an unspecified number of Patriot missile batteries into Lithuania, nominally for a military drill that is ongoing for the next two weeks.

This marks the first time such advanced US anti-aircraft weapons have been deployed into one of the Baltic states, and the deployment is expected to last beyond the current exercise, with Lithuanian officials saying it proves the US military commitment to them.

Lithuanian officials have the impression the missiles would be there at least through Russia’s own military exercises in the region in September, which are expected to be held near the NATO border regions, and which Lithuanian officials have been hyping as a “threat.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

WHAT Russian threat is there to Lithuania, or Poland, please?!?

In a word, non-existent.

However, what we are seeing is a string of NATO detachments, encircling Russia; toward what final end, perhaps, a NATO war against Russia?!?

Lining their pockets with YOUR money - MEPs charging for ‘ghost offices’ that DON’T exist

BRITISH taxpayers are funding hundreds of “ghost offices” for MEPs.

Each member of the European Parliament gets £3,841, or 4,342 euros, every month which is meant to go towards expenses and includes funding an office in their own country.

But an investigation by The MEPs Project – a freedom of information initiative set up by journalists – found offices for 249 members do not exist, could not be located or requests for the address were refused.

So far just 133 out of the 748 MEPs have revealed what they pay in office rent.
