Hungary set for fresh anti-Soros blitz

Hungary is set to launch another state "national consultation" about US financier and philanthropist George Soros, the government said Tuesday, six months before expected general elections.

The campaign would be to investigate public views on the "Soros plan", and would likely be launched next month, government spokesman Bence Tuzson told public radio, without giving further details.

Last week a top official in the ruling Fidesz party, Lajos Kosa, said that this "Soros plan" includes Europe accepting a million migrants per year and the demolition of Hungary's anti-migrant border fences.

The little-known group which invaded a press conference by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is an alliance of four amnesty and open-borders organizations which are based in and near San Francisco.

The left-wingers said they were protesting Pelosi’s claimed September 13 deal with President Donald Trump for a quick amnesty and citizenship for at least 3.3 million illegals. Nationwide, the population of illegal immigrants is at least 11 million,

Removing Offensive Monuments

The eyesore presidential libraries

The social justice warrior charge to purge the United States of all monuments relating in any way to the Confederacy has been rapidly expanding to include the scourge represented by all white people all through history.

Now, I would suggest that turnabout is fair play so if we are all agreeing that monuments must be destroyed to right historic wrongs, I am interested in making up my own little list based on the things that I disapprove of. As readers of this site are aware, I am a critic of illegal behavior by the United States government, to include torture, targeted assassinations by drone and starting wars without any reason to do so, so that would be a good place to start.

What would it take for you to switch sides and join the rest of mankind in what is a struggle for the survival of our species?

I asked you to name me a single successful US military intervention since WWII and you could name none. Good!

Did you notice that there was no Islamic State in Iraq before the US invasion?

I don’t think that millions of murdered people, including hundreds of thousands of children, are “mistakes” (how would you react it somebody conceded to you that Hitler and Stalin made “mistakes”?). But there is something even more insidious in this notion of “mistake”.

Bangladesh warns Myanmar over border amid refugee crisis

Bangladesh has accused Myanmar of repeatedly violating its air space and warned that any more “provocative acts” could have “unwarranted consequences”, raising the risk of a deterioration in relations already strained by the Rohingya refugee crisis.

Nearly 400,000 Rohingya Muslims from western Myanmar have crossed into Bangladesh since Aug. 25, fleeing a Myanmar government offensive against insurgents that the United Nations has branded a “textbook example of ethnic cleansing”.

Bangladesh said Myanmar drones and helicopters had violated its air space three times - on Sept. 10, 12 and 14 - and it had called in a top Myanmar embassy official in Dhaka to complain.

“Bangladesh expressed deep concern at the repetition of such acts of provocation and demanded that Myanmar takes immediate measures to ensure that such violation of sovereignty does not occur again,” the ministry said in statement late on Friday.

“These provocative acts may lead to unwarranted consequences.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

From an east/west forum article, created in 2013, we find the following information:

The military governments fought long running wars against ethnic armed groups struggling for self-determination and independence. These conflicts inflicted a heavy toll, both in terms of casualties and the creation of large refugee populations. The armed conflicts have held back development in ethnic minority areas.

Myanmar is heavily dependent on natural resources and for decades the military governments exploited natural resources with almost complete disregard of the socio-economic impact on the local population. Concessions were granted to unethical international partners to extract timber, jade and mineral resources without even basic transparency of earnings. Due to this poor record, the Revenue Watch Institute ranked Myanmar as having the worst resource governance among 58 countries studied.

Resource rich ethnic states have been targeted for predatory resource extraction, which has served to perpetuate the animosity towards successive military governments. While the latest 2010 estimate puts the national poverty headcount at 26 per cent, rates are far higher among many of the minority groups. It is noteworthy that three out of the four poorest areas are ethnic minority states. The incidence of poverty in Chin State alone is almost three times the national average. This suggests a vicious cycle whereby conflict holds back development and under-development in itself feeds a sense of relative deprivation.

So I have to speculate: what about the natural resources existing in the Rakhine state?!? Are they worth the creation of a texbook ethnic cleansing campaign against the Rohingya people, in order to clear them out, before some natural resouce can be revealed and extracted for its monetary value to the Myanmar state, from which the Rohingya will never be allowed to profit?!?

Homeland Security Faces Lawsuit Over Warrantless Searches at Border

By Derrick Broze

The Department of Homeland Security faces a federal class action lawsuit for violating the rights of people crossing the U.S. border by searching their laptops and cell phones.

Attorneys with the Electronic Frontier Foundation and the American Civil Liberties Union filed a lawsuit on Wednesday in defense of 10 U.S. citizens and one green card holder in response to warrantless searches at the U.S. border. During the Obama Administration, Customs and Border Protection agents had a bad habit of conducting warrantless searches of cellphones and laptops. Documents released to the American Civil Liberties Union under Freedom of Information Act requests revealed that Border Patrol agents searched over 6,500 people from October 2008 to June 2010...

Right "Explodes In Anger" Over Trump's New Immigration Push

Trump's base woke up to a fairly surprising flip-flop this morning from the White House on DACA and the infamous, beautiful border wall which was discussed repeatedly on the campaign trail throughout 2016. It all started when Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi released the following statement after their White House dinner with the President last night:

"We had a very productive meeting at the White House with the President. The discussion focused on DACA. We agreed to enshrine the protections of DACA into law quickly, and to work out a package of border security, excluding the wall, that's acceptable to both sides."
That statement was followed up by a tweet storm (we covered it here) from the President this morning which seemingly revealed his complete support for DACA and referred to 'The Wall' as a "renovation of old and existing fences and walls" rather than the "physically imposing" yet "aesthetically pleasing" structure that he repeatedly promised his supporters.

That’s real money, even in D.C., and if the bishops think they’re getting it because they’re such good guys – well, they’re the only folks in Washington who are.”

Refugees welcome? Merkel flip flops on migrants as chancellorship at stake

Christopher Columbus and the Falsification of History

Most of what has been taught about Christopher Columbus and his holy and heroic patroness has been distorted, lied about, and politicized for the advancement of leftist causes, the most important of which is the smearing of the great European men of the past and to ridicule their descendants’ pride in their glorious heritage. The historical untruths have not stopped with Columbus and Queen Isabella, but are being spread about conditions of the pre-Columbian societies.

Instead of an idyllic land where the inhabitants lived in peace and harmony with one another until the evil, conquering white man appeared, life in the pre-Columbian Americas’ was, to say the least, quite grisly. A recent archeological discovery in Mexico City of the ancient Aztec Empire shows again what most knew, prior to the onslaught of leftist historical revisionism, that human sacrifice was practiced on a large scale.**

Monthly Refugee Admissions Lowest in 15 Years; Percentage of Muslims Declining

Nine hundred and thirteen refugees were admitted to the United States during August, the first time the monthly intake has dropped below one thousand in 15 years, and the smallest number of monthly admissions since October 2002.

August’s arrivals followed a pattern evident since the start of the Trump administration – a declining proportion of Muslims in comparison to Christians and adherents of other faiths.

Of the 913 refugees admitted during the month, 551 (60.3 percent) were Christians, with the biggest groups including 185 Pentecostalists from Ukraine and 53 Baptists, also from Ukraine.

A significantly smaller group, 220 (24.1 percent) were Muslims, including 48 Sunnis from Iraq and 47 from Syria.

James Woods was bold enough to nail DACA ‘scam’ in one simple tweet, and it’s gone viral

While Trump is reportedly leaning toward ending the program with a 6-month delay to allow Congress to act, most Republican politicians and pundits are missing the point.

Did President Obama act unconstitutionally by unilaterally acting outside the delegated powers of the executive branch? Certainly.

Would President Trump be within his rights and even wise to keep his campaign promise to end the program before lawsuits, and the courts, force him to do so? Absolutely.

Does Congress have the right to reinstate the program through Constitutional processes? Indeed.

However, and it’s a big hairy however, it’s ALL just a giant smokescreen…

…all of it, and leave it to actor and conservative provocateur James Woods to nail the entire scam in one simple 15-word (if you include the awesome hashtag) tweet:

Barack Obama Breaks Silence: Trump DACA Decision Is ‘Wrong’ and ‘Cruel’

Former President Barack Obama issued a statement condemning President Donald Trump for announcing a decision to end his DACA program, which offered amnesty to illegal immigrants brought to the United States as children.

To target these young people is wrong because they have done nothing wrong … and it is cruel,” Obama said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Their PARENTS did something wrong. And DACA only applied to 13-25 year olds; hardly "children."

TOP EU COURT THREATENS POLAND, HUNGARY, CZECH REPUBLIC WITH FINES IF THEY REFUSE REFUGEES

Concluding a months-long saga in which central and eastern European nations revolted against Brussels' refugee policies, on Wednesday the European Union’s highest court ruled that EU states must take in a share of refugees who reach Europe, dismissing complaints by Slovakia and Hungary and reigniting an angry row between east and west. The Court upheld the EU’s right to order national governments to take in their "fair share" of asylum seekers, arguing that "the mechanism actually contributes to enabling Greece and Italy to deal with the impact of the 2015 migration crisis and is proportionate."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Did you hear that dull, agonising thud from across the pond?!?

THAT... was the EU, dismembering itself over the issue of refugee immigration.

14 Things the MSM Won’t Tell You About DACA

Whenever a Republican wants to move forward — you know, pass some legislation or even enforce the law as already written, they always, always, ALWAYS have to run through a mainstream media propaganda gauntlet dedicated to the status quo, loyal only to the Democrat cause and by extension opposed to anything resembling progress.

Obamacare is an objective disaster; nonetheless, the media fights tooth and nail to save it. Our tax code is a backwards, prosperity-stifling haven for corporatist special interests; nonetheless, the media will do everything in its power to ensure not a single word is altered.

Then there is illegal immigration, which, like abortion, the MSM treats as its own personal sacrament. Flooding America, primarily Red States, with illegal Democrats who also serve the interests of a Big Business Complex desperate to keep wages low and unions non-existent, there is nothing our corrupt media will not do to keep that illegal flood flooding.

"Getting Deported Was The Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me": CNN

Though CNN and other liberal propaganda mills are hysterical over the prospect so-called "DREAMers" may have to return to their own countries, the reality is they'll be returning as grown adults (median age 25) with English skills and a valuable education paid for by US taxpayers.

While CNN is at the forefront of the liberal freak out over DACA, earlier this year in June they ran a story of one man who said getting deported back to Mexico was the "best thing that ever happened" to him.

EU Dismisses Hungarian Request for ‘Solidarity’ over Border Controls, ‘We Won’t Support Fences’

On Thursday, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán sent a letter to Commission chief Jean-Claude Juncker asking for €400 million, representing half the amount that the Visegrad nation says it has spent on border protection measures which include erecting a 110-mile fence along its border with Serbia, and another with Croatia.

But a spokesman for the Commission refused the request, telling Hungary that fences are not a border control measure that Brussels is prepared to back.

“We do support border management measures at the external borders. This can be surveillance measures. It can be border control equipment… But fences, we do not finance,” Alexander Winterstein said.

Global Banks Sabotage Uruguay’s Efforts to Legalize Marijuana

The first country to fully legalize the recreational use of marijuana, Uruguay, has suddenly found itself facing an unexpected obstacle: the international banking industry. It all began a few weeks ago when one of the 15 pharmacies that had agreed to sell the two varieties of cannabis distributed by the Uruguayan State announced that it was withdrawing from the scheme after its bank, Santander, had threatened to close its account unless it stopped providing services for the state-controlled sales. Shortly afterwards it was revealed that other banks, including Brazil’s Itaú, had canceled the accounts of the private companies that had been granted a license to produce marijuana as well as some cannabis clubs.

Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate Says ‘Maine’s Whiteness Is Bad News’

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mark Eves believes “Maine’s whiteness is bad news” according to remarks he delivered during a Maine People’s Alliance event this week.

According to Maine First Media and Big League Politics, the former Speaker of the Maine House of Representatives delivered the remarks while addressing a group of nearly one hundred activists and grassroots supporters Wednesday evening at the “Resistance Rising” forum event put on by the Maine People’s Alliance in Lewiston.

Eves reportedly said Maine is going to be in trouble if it does not attract a more diverse population.

Organizers of the event ironically noted that the Wednesday’s gathering was put together to “help everyday Mainers and fight back against the racist and xenophobic rhetoric and policies coming from Washington and Augusta.”

Stockholm on Lockdown As Police Officer Stabbed in Neck By Moroccan Youth

It is reported the assailant snuck up behind the officer and cut his neck. The attack has been called completely unprovoked in Swedish media.

While the officer was conscious and able to sit up on his own as the ambulance arrived. He was discharged from the hospital Thursday afternoon having sustained only minor injuries.

The attack comes just hours after Swedish police were the subject of another potentially deadly attack Thursday morning, again in Stockholm. Officers were called to a bogus burglar alarm in a suburb to the south of the city, and upon arriving instead of finding a householder in distress, their car was pelted with heavy stones from a 10th floor flat in a tower block.

One of the officers, a police dog handler came close to being killed when his vehicle was struck, reports Expressen. Police were able to raid the apartment and arrested one for attempted murder, but a second suspect remains on the run.

Webmaster's Commentary:

More "cultural enrichment" in Sweden, I see.

Republican Governor Signs Bill to Make Illinois a Sanctuary State

Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner, a Republican, signed a ‘sanctuary state’ bill into law that prohibits police from making an arrest based solely on the fact that they are in the country illegally. They must have a court order for that. The Governor says the bill is a two-page compromise from a 40-page bill filled with additional restrictions on police. Compromise or not, former supporters are saying that Rauner is the best Democrat Governor the state has ever had.

Federal judge blocks enforcement of Texas crackdown on sanctuary cities

A federal judge blocked parts of Texas’s strict new immigration crackdown law late Wednesday, ruling that the state cannot attempt to punish sanctuary cities for refusing to turn illegal immigrants over to federal authorities for deportation.

Acting less than 30 hours before the law was to take effect, U.S. District Judge Orlando L. Garcia said it’s up to the federal government, not the state, to decide what sorts of cooperation localities must provide in the context of immigration.

But the judge left in place the part of the law that allows police to determine the legal status of those they encounter during their duties. Judge Garcia said as long as the checks don’t prolong the encounter, they are presumed to be constitutional.
