Meet The Very Shady Prosecutor Robert Mueller Has Hired For The Russia Investigation

Mr. Weissmann has been portrayed recently as having “unimpeachable ethics” and as “the prosecutor you would want” if your family member was innocent. He was extolled for having “a hunch” that a former treasurer of Enron was “willing to say more” and would “cooperate.”

But what do the cases and indisputable facts show?

Let’s start with Mr. Weissmann’s “hunch” that young Enron treasurer Ben Glisan was ready to “cooperate.” Mr. Glisan was about 30 years old when Enron CFO Andrew Fastow — then a cover-boy for CFO Magazine — conned Glisan into one of Fastow’s fraudulent get-rich-quick schemes.

Obama vs. Nixon: Proof of our decline

A small group of burglars back in 1972 got caught trying to break into the Democratic National Committee offices located inside the Watergate Hotel in Washington, D.C. The event would shake Washington and the rest of the nation to its core and shatter America's confidence in the integrity of government. The crime and the ensuing investigation would forever be referred to as simply "Watergate" and resulted in President Richard Nixon's resignation. Nixon's closest assistants, John Ehrlichman, and H.R. Haldeman, spent 18 months in jail. John Dean, the White House legal counsel, and John Mitchell, the attorney general, along with other associates such as G. Gordon Liddy and E. Howard Hunt, all spent time behind bars.

US & Ukraine are alone in rejecting Russia’s anti-Nazism resolution at UN

The UNGA Third Committee overwhelmingly passed a Russian-introduced resolution on combating the glorification of Nazism. The US did not break with its annual tradition of saying ‘no’ during the symbolic vote. Ukraine also voted against.

The Moscow-drafted resolution against whitewashing and attempting to glorify Nazi ideology was approved by a majority in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) human right committee on November 16. The resolution, introduced each year, was supported by 125 delegations, 51 states abstained, and the only countries opposed were the US and Ukraine.

THE DRONE WAR UNDER TRUMP: KILLING MORE PEOPLE, HIDING MORE FACTS

President Donald Trump seems determined to undo just about everything Barack Obama has done. There is one area, however, in which he is following the lead of his predecessor: drone warfare. Not that the public would know anything about it — or the dangerously loose oversight involved. And that’s by design. The Trump administration is not only expanding the use of drones, it is also obscuring the facts about how many drones are being used, how many people are being killed by them, and where

Democrat Senator: “In Hindsight,” Bill Clinton Should’ve Resigned

Boy, Democrats are really getting brave these days, huh? Who imagined we would see the day that they turned on Bill Clinton…er…nearly twenty years after he left office. Oh, and one year after it became conclusively evident that his wife was never going to be president. In other words, they have successfully waited until the Clintons have been stripped of any significant Washington power and any power they might have to bring victory back to their failing party to turn on them like the weasels they are. And they only did THAT because they know Clinton’s record with women is an anchor around their necks, preventing them from getting up on their highest high horse to condemn Republicans like Roy Moore and Donald Trump.

Although, if Al Franken is any indication, they may have to rid themselves of more anchors than just Slick Willie.

Why Is The DOJ Downplaying Reports Of Proof Linking Obama And Clinton To Russian Corruption

Following the release of the identity of the FBI informant, Justice Department officials in recent days said that informant William Campbell’s prior work won’t shed much light on the U.S. government’s controversial decision in 2010 to approve Russia’s purchase of the Uranium One mining company and its substantial U.S. assets.

FBI informant gathered years of evidence on Russian push for US nuclear fuel deals, including Uranium One, memos show

An FBI informant gathered extensive evidence during his six years undercover about a Russian plot to corner the American uranium market, ranging from corruption inside a U.S. nuclear transport company to Obama administration approvals that let Moscow buy and sell more atomic fuels, according to more than 5,000 pages of documents from the counterintelligence investigation.

The memos, reviewed by The Hill, conflict with statements made by Justice Department officials in recent days that informant William Campbell’s prior work won’t shed much light on the U.S. government’s controversial decision in 2010 to approve Russia’s purchase of the Uranium One mining company and its substantial U.S. assets.

Campbell documented for his FBI handlers the first illegal activity by Russians nuclear industry officials in fall 2009, nearly a entire year before the Russian state-owned Rosatom nuclear firm won Obama administration approval for the Uranium One deal, the memos show.

IS TRUMP RIGHT ABOUT SOMETHING 'VERY FISHY' IN FOSTER DEATH?

If President Trump still believes, as he said last year, that there’s something “very fishy” about the official Independent Counsel report on the still-mysterious death of Bill Clinton’s White House deputy counsel Vincent Foster, he might want to reconsider one of his new candidates for nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court.

One of five candidates for a potential opening on the court named Friday by Trump is Brett M. Kavanaugh.

Conspicuously not mentioned in that biography is Kavanaugh’s role in leading the badly flawed investigation into the death of Vincent Foster in July 1993.

Treasure Trove of Documents Tying Russia to Uranium One

Recent pushback in Congressional testimony by Department of Justice Attorney General Jeff Sessions, as well as unnamed Justice Department officials in several news articles, stating that the case involving a highly placed FBI confidential informant in the Russian nuclear industry was not connected to the sale of the Canadian firm Uranium One in 2010, does not coincide with the trove of documents, emails and memoranda obtained by this reporter that prove otherwise.

Moreover, an American energy consultant, who is now an official with the Department of Energy’s office of Nuclear Energy, produced a memorandum regarding the acquisition of Uranium One and other legislative matters for one of the main Russian co-conspirators that was then under an FBI clandestine investigation.

On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Ingraham Angle,” Bill Clinton accusers Paula Jones and Juanita Broaddrick stated they were skeptical about the sincerity of those on the left who have recently come out against Bill Clinton.

Because us women did not get any kind of help whatsoever from any of those liberal women. They ridiculed us. We were called all kind of names. We were not believed. Dissent Under Attack By Government & Corporations

It is often hard to tell how close popular movements are to success or whether they are even a threat to the status quo power structure. Despite vigorous protests, it is common to worry whether or not movements are having an impact. One tell-tale sign is when government and big business interests take action to stop or silence a movement.

These days, there is a lot of push back against resistance movements in the United States. While it may be riskier for us when they fight back, it is a positive sign and means that the movement needs to escalate, build power and increase its pressure.

One absurd example of suppression came from Los Angeles where police are enforcing an ordinance that makes it a crime to speak longer than your allotted time when testifying before the city council. When someone goes 20 seconds more than the time they are allowed, police arrest the citizen.

Trump Can't Declare War on North Korea – Only Congress Can

President Donald Trump threatened to “totally destroy” North Korea during his September United Nations speech, and on his current Asia trip, he flatly stated that “the era of strategic patience has ended.” To be clear, the decision on whether to wage preventive war on the Korean Peninsula does not lie with Trump or any president. The United States Constitution reserves exclusive authority for declaring war to the Congress.
If Trump were to make good on his threats and order military action on the peninsula, it is almost certain that North Korea would instantly retaliate, unleashing waves of artillery and rocket fire on Seoul and its environs, potentially killing hundreds of thousands—unless they use nuclear weapons, in which case the casualties might quickly escalate into the millions.

Detecting Disinformation Agents

There are several types of disinformation agents, from high-profile ones who gain a lot of publicity and promote well-crafted stories, to low-level ones who serve to flood the Internet with less reputable claims. This document deals primarily with the former.

The ultimate purpose of a disinformation agent is three-fold:

a) to create a sense of ridicule about anything that they include in their story so that even what is true will be not be believed by intelligent people,

b) to mislead those who are gullible enough to believe their story, and

c) to divert the efforts of those who seek to know the truth through further investigation.

Although disinformation agents are used to cover up the truth, their claims should not be written off completely, since they can still teach us something about the underlying truth that they’re meant to cover up.

Recent WikiLeaks emails showed that a progressive think tank executive was in contact with Hillary Clinton's campaign chairman, John Podesta, about "planting the seeds" of a "Catholic Spring"-- a revolution within the Catholic Church to press the church to align more with the left wing of the Democratic party.

"There needs to be a Catholic Spring," Sandy Newman, of Voices For Progress, wrote to Podesta, "in which Catholics themselves demand the end of a Middle Ages dictatorship and the beginning of a little democracy and respect for gender equality."
